PHS English Summer Camp 2025

With the aim of providing students with an exciting learning journey and opportunities to practice and enhance their English skills through interactive experiences, the summer camp offers engaging learning guided directly by experienced teachers from the United Kingdom. Students will benefit from high-quality and practical teaching methods. The academic and educational activities are creatively and comprehensively developed to enhance students’ language skills, critical thinking, and knowledge.

• Language: All learning and interaction will be conducted in English, except for the preprimary class (who will follow a bilingual program in English and Vietnamese).
• Language & Communication:
• English Clubs: Explore language through fun and creative activities.
• Presentation Skills: Build confidence in public speaking and expression.
• Vietnamese: Improve native language skills alongside English.
• Comic Creation: Learn storytelling and express ideas through visuals.
• English Dubbing: Discover the art of voice-over in English media.
• Critical Thinking & Exploration:
• Math in English: Learn mathematical concepts using a global language.
• Social Science: Explore social and cultural topics in an international context.
• STEM: Enhance logical thinking and creativity through science, technology, engineering, and math activities.
• Artificial Intelligence Applications: Learn how AI is changing the world through hands-on activities.
• Math Clubs: Solve interesting problems and challenge your thinking.
• Arts & Physical Activities:
• Drama: Develop performance skills through dramatic roles and scenarios.
• Bilingual Magazine: The Essence of Asia and I Love Saigon – explore and write about culture and life through a multicultural lens.
• Cooking Class: Learn to prepare traditional and modern dishes, building practical life skills.
• Sports Clubs: Strengthen both body and mind through various sports activities.
• Real-world Experience:
• Weekly Field Trips
• Led by British teachers (with Vietnamese teaching assistants)
• 100% of field trip costs are covered by the School Board

• Camp format: day-boarding
• Students may choose to register for individual weeks, with full payment required at the time of registration (registration must be completed before May 10, 2025)
• Open to both PHS and non-PHS students
• Detailed summer timetable will be sent to parents before May 15, 2025
• Registration and payment deadline: Before May 10, 2025
