PHS School Thinking...
On April 7th PHS teachers and students had a coach trip to the exhibition centre in district 7. We looked at textile machines, fabrics , accessories and all the processes shown . We saw combed polyester fibre sliver spinning into yarn . There were several circular knitting machines , a few Knitting spandex. There were many amazing things to be seen. Did you see the Korean ultrasound seam welding machine for the polyester fabric ? That’s before the technician hid the technology ! Well, That would be one ! And sublimation transfer printing although we were unable to see the whole process due to time constraints would be an other . There were so many things to see, and many things worth learning. We mustn’t forget that the textile and garment industry has helped Vietnam a lot and currently accounts for well over 20 billion dollars per year.
