Grade 2 and Grade 4 students at PHS enjoyed an inspiring outdoor learning day at the park! Grade 2 took Mathematics outdoors to explore geometry through rows of palm trees, practiced estimation, and observed different types of leaves. Grade 4 directly discovered the science of life by examining individual leaves, learning about growth conditions, observing automatic irrigation systems, and answering the question: “What do plants ‘eat’ to live?”.
