The 5 groups of occupations, each featuring the 10 most valuable jobs, were introduced at “The Youth Paradox” seminar on May 15, 2026, organized by 11th-grade students at PHS.

1. Technology & Data Group

This industry group currently boasts the fastest growth rates and the highest starting salaries.

  • AI Engineer: Designs and trains machine learning models.
  • Data Analyst: Transforms raw data into strategic insights.
  • Data Scientist: Builds complex predictive algorithms.
  • Cybersecurity Analyst: Protects systems from digital attacks.
  • Software Engineer: Develops applications and web/mobile platforms.
  • Cloud Engineer: Manages infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • UX/UI Designer: Optimizes user interfaces and user journeys.
  • Robotics Engineer: Designs automation systems for industries and services.
  • Blockchain Engineer: Develops decentralized systems and smart contracts.
  • DevOps Engineer: Acts as a bridge between software development and system operations. DevOps is a blended term derived from two English phrases: Software Development and Information Technology Operations.
