PHS TOP 6 – ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026

The very foundation of the PHS distinction lies in the profound dedication and exceptional calibre of our faculty. Through deeply personalised guidance, an unceasing spirit of learning and innovation, and a boundless devotion to their craft and students, our teachers have ignited inspiration, awakened latent potential, and steadfastly guided PHS students towards a future of resilient growth.

The School Board, the Student Council, and the Parents’ Association offer their warmest and most respectful congratulations to the six outstanding educators of the 2025-2026 academic year:

1️⃣ Ms ĐẶNG PHAN ANH TRANG – Vice Principal of Primary Education

Ms Trang demonstrates exemplary leadership in managing the Primary curriculum at PHS. This academic year, she has been instrumental in vigorously developing the Primary SSTEAM and Robotics programmes from Year 3 onwards. Our community frequently enjoys the delightful articles, photographs, and videos showcasing the vibrant life of the Primary school, all curated by her for the school’s official media channels. Above all, she consistently devotes her time to engaging with and supporting parents across all key stages, from Primary through to Secondary education.

2️⃣ Ms BÙI THỊ TRÂM ANH – Bilingual Programme Manager & Head of Year 6

Ms Trâm Anh is the driving force behind our arts initiatives, most notably the Autumn Exhibition. Renowned for her academic excellence and meticulous perfectionism, she seamlessly breathes artistic soul into our extracurricular activities. In transitioning from Primary to this new academic chapter, Year 6 pupils routinely find great joy in entering the classrooms of their form tutors, led by the reassuring and familiar presence of Ms Trâm Anh. This year, in collaboration with Mr Jonathan Kelling, she successfully integrated the AI Club into the High School curriculum. Furthermore, the PHS Summer Schools have been exceptionally vibrant, featuring cinematic dubbing workshops and enriched English programmes thoughtfully designed by Ms Trâm Anh and our British faculty members.

A delightful aside: Ms Trang and Ms Trâm Anh happen to be two of PHS’s most seasoned and intrepid backpackers.

3️⃣ Ms LÊ THỊ THANH HÀ – Head of Vietnamese Literature & Deputy Head of Social Sciences, Editor-in-Chief of the “I Love Saigon” magazine

Ms Hà is the pen behind many profound profiles of PHS students. Nurturing literary talent and cultivating advanced skills in observation, documentation, writing, and eloquent expression are her true forte. Under her expert guidance, students can approach the National High School Graduation Examination with absolute confidence in achieving stellar results.

Are PHS secondary students complex? Indubitably so. They are bright, individualistic, and sharp-witted young Saigonese—some exuberant, others quiet and contemplative. Encouraged to feel respected, they confidently voice their perspectives on the world around them, bringing with them all the beautiful “paradoxes of youth.” No matter how demanding her schedule, Ms Hà always carves out time for students and parents alike, extending her care far beyond her own form class. Possessing both psychological insight and a refined sense of humour, she maintains an authentic and candid rapport with her pupils, earning their deepest affection and trust.

4️⃣ Ms LÊ THỊ HỒNG VY – Year 5 Educator & Head of the Primary Mathematics Club

With years of dedicated service in Year 5, Ms Hồng Vy possesses impeccable professional expertise and maintains a deeply attentive care for every pupil and parent. Her profound love for Mathematics, her linguistic flair, her passion for the Natural Sciences, and the sheer creativity she weaves into every lesson have made her a beloved figure among her students. She may possess a petite stature, but her professional energy is boundless.

5️⃣ Ms NGUYỄN THỊ THẢO VY – Year 5 Educator & Calligraphy Master

Ms Thảo Vy is a true master of Calligraphy for PHS pupils, demonstrating academic excellence across both Year 4 and Year 5 curricula. Vibrant and intellectually curious, her enthusiasm is infectious, effortlessly carrying her entire class along with her. Gifted in both child psychology and physical education, she maintains high standards for her pupils, systematically elevating them to higher echelons of knowledge and skill. Her teaching is defined by its rich creativity and delightful wit.

6️⃣ Ms LÂM THỊ ÁNH QUYÊN – Physical Education Educator & Nutritional Consultant

If PHS students embrace physical activity with such fervour—willingly enduring rigorous training even on the most sweltering days—it is largely due to Ms Quyên’s inspiring mentorship. Should a student find themselves slightly over or underweight, Ms Quyên is always on hand to offer tailored nutritional and fitness counsel. Indeed, even if one does not proactively seek her out, she is known to gently guide students aside for a supportive, private chat.

Ms Quyên is also held in high esteem by the student body for her remarkable achievements in city-level athletic competitions and her effortless sports-model poise.

Our heartfelt congratulations to these outstanding teachers—the true pride of PHS! May our TOP 6 continue to cultivate brilliant and fulfilling careers with us. But before all else, we wish you a thoroughly delightful and well-deserved summer holiday with your families!
