Beyond the Grade – Crafting your global identity through New Zealand experiences.

Grades 8, 9, 10 and 11 had the pleasure of welcoming teachers from New Zealand for a meaningful exchange titled Beyond the Grade – Crafting your global identity through New Zealand experiences.

More than just a sharing session about studying in New Zealand, students experienced real learning — through project-based activities, discussions, presentations, and direct interaction with international teachers.

The teachers from New Zealand were highly impressed and gave many compliments on the students’ presentation skills, creativity, and teamwork. In particular, PHS students used English quite naturally and communicated with confidence, creating an open and comfortable atmosphere.

💡 What made it special?

Our Grade 11 students were the organizers of the event.

They took charge of:

📌 Preparing content and hosting as MCs

📌 Designing banners

📌 Setting up technical equipment

📌 Supporting the New Zealand teachers throughout the visit

This was not just an extracurricular activity, but a valuable opportunity for students to:

📌 build organizational skills

📌 develop global communication

📌 practice teamwork and real-life problem solving
