PHS School Thinking...
Every week, students from Grades 10–12 join exciting AI Club sessions with Mr. Jonathan Anthony Keeling, conducted entirely in English. They get hands-on experience writing and refining prompts to create accurate AI images, learn how AI models are “trained,” understand why data quality matters, and practice spotting AI-generated fakes.
Students also try training their own mini-AI using Teachable Machine to recognize objects and facial expressions – discovering that an AI model is only as “smart” as the data it learns from.
Beyond technology, they build flexible thinking, problem-solving skills, and persistence, while learning that today’s AI still requires careful checking and verification.
💡 Coming up: The students will have three practical sessions with Dr. Trương Quốc Trí, lecturer in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at Van Lang University. This will be a valuable chance for PHS students to explore a real tech environment and interact directly with an AI expert.
