PHS School Thinking...

/ ☀️ Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun anh is about half the size of Earth. From satellite images, it glows like a giant ember burning quietly in the vastness of space. 🔥
/ 🌋 Its rusty-red color comes from thick layers of iron dust covering the surface. The ancient Romans named it “Mars”, after their god of war, because the color reminded them of blood and fire on ancient battlefields. ⚔️
/ ⏳ A day on Mars lasts 24 hours and 39 minutes, quite similar to Earth. But a Martian year stretches to 687 days, which means birthdays on Mars would come much later and childhood would feel almost twice as long. 🎂 👶
/ 🌡️ Mars has an extremely thin atmosphere, only 0.6% as dense as Earth’s. Daytime temperatures can reach 20°C, but at night they drop to –73°C. The cold is so intense it turns the entire planet into a giant freezer floating in space. 🧊 🥶
/ 💧 Despite its harsh conditions, Mars still holds layers of water ice at its poles and beneath the ground. This gives hope that one day humanity may find traces of life 👽 or even build the first cities 🏙️ on the Red Planet.
/ 🎉 Mars House (2A & 11) joined the Happy Planet Festival. Did the “god Mars” look blazing enough on the cosmic runway? 👑 ✨
