Our first Grade 6 Parent-Teacher meeting of the school year took place in a warm, open, and meaningful atmosphere, where the school and parents came together to listen, share, and provide better support for our students as they begin this new journey.
🌱 Listen & understand: Listening to and understanding parents’ thoughts and concerns as their children enter a new stage of education, with changes in their physical and emotional development and a new academic programme.
🌱 Guide & support: Sharing strategies to help students develop independence, build effective self-study habits, overcome their initial concerns, and confidently adapt to the high school programme.
🌱 Connect & collaborate: Strengthening cooperation between families and the school to create a positive and supportive learning journey for our students.
📌 Key Highlights:
☉ Sharing the direction and goals for the school year, along with feedback on students’ learning and daily experiences during their first two weeks.
☉ Introducing the high school programme and PHS’s holistic educational activities.
☉ Discussing ways to recognise and encourage students, as well as communication and collaboration between the school and families.
☉ Psychological characteristics by age group and strategies for supporting our children through secondary school.
