Throughout history, teachers of Social Sciences and Arts subjects—including History, Literature, Geography, Citizenship Education, Local Studies, Fine Arts, and Music—have always served as the guardians and transmitters of our national memory. At the primary level, where a holistic approach is required, teachers integrate these subjects seamlessly into their curriculum. They do more than impart textbook knowledge; they stir emotions, enabling students to connect deeply with the rich heritage of their ancestors through invaluable lessons.

Each subject contributes a unique piece to the mosaic of patriotism. The diversity of teaching methods—from creative writing, projects, and historical role-play to field trips, songs, dances, paintings, and vivid models—transforms knowledge from dry theory into living experience. These precious engagements help students realise that patriotism is also reflected in the development of personal competence and the sense of responsibility to build and protect the nation.
