Have you ever paused, just for a moment, amidst the lively rush of Saigon, and felt a quiet whisper in your heart: “Oh, how deeply I cherish this city?”
Saigon is so much more than the sun-dappled streets where green me-trees cast their shade, more than the cool comfort of a sidewalk cà phê sữa đá, or the faint, echoing calls of vendors late at night… Saigon is like a boundless, warm-hearted mother. She opens her loving arms, embracing every soul who arrives, planting dreams in their hearts, giving them a place to stand, and teaching them to love in a way that is utterly and beautifully Saigon.
We—the students here at PHS—felt this truth stirring within us. We knew that this immense love for Saigon couldn’t just stay a secret, hidden away in our chests. It needed to be sung out, to be etched onto paper, to be shared and cherished before the old, nostalgic corners vanish, before the city’s quickening pulse makes us forget the generous, loving land we call home.
And so, rising from our Local Education class, we poured our hearts into creating the I LOVE SAIGON magazine. It isn’t a boast; it is a precious space to remember, a deep act of gratitude, and a gentle message we want to send.💕
Within the luminous pages of our magazine, you will discover:
